MotoCapture is a desktop app that replaces the notes, spreadsheets, and glovebox receipts you've been using to track maintenance. Every vehicle, every service, every receipt - organized, searchable, and stored only on your own computer.
Not a spreadsheet. Not a folder of PDFs named "receipt (3) final.pdf". One record per vehicle that holds all of it.
Three things, done well, instead of ten things done halfway.
Set up recurring items by mileage, by time, or by whichever comes first. Start from a common-maintenance template or build your own - every interval stays editable, because a generic template is a starting point, not a promise about your specific car.
Log completed work and one-off repairs, attach receipts and photos, and see cost summaries by category. Export a polished PDF history report, a CSV, or a full JSON backup whenever you want - your data, in formats you can actually use elsewhere.
Scan a QR code to pair your phone over your own Wi-Fi - no account, nothing sent over the internet. Snap a photo of a receipt or the odometer, and it lands in a Capture Inbox on the desktop app for you to review and file.
No account, no cloud sync, no telemetry. MotoCapture runs entirely on your computer, stores everything in a local database, and the only network activity is one you start yourself.
Vehicles, service records, and receipts live in a local SQLite database and local files. Nothing is transmitted unless you export, back up, or share it yourself.
Pairing your phone opens a temporary connection over your own home network only. It's not built for public Wi-Fi, and it disappears the moment you disconnect.
The one exception: an off-by-default setting to send crash diagnostics if something breaks. It's clearly labeled, and MotoCapture works exactly the same with it left off.
Free to download. No account, no sign-up, no trial clock.
